Job Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and technical support for day-to-day manufacturing operations & initiate process improvements
Job Duties:
· Develop 3D models in Inventor to assist CNC punching, fabrication, burning, robotic welding, & assembly departments.
· Design & develop jigs & fixtures to aid manufacturing.
· Program a variety of CNC Fabrication Machines including an Amada Turret Press, Press Brakes, Plasma Cutting Table, and Robotic Welding using CAD/CAM Software.
· Plan & establish sequence of operations to fabricate & assemble products & promote efficient L & M utilization.
· Create Travelers/Routing Sheets.
· Provide assistance to production department resolving issues associated with various manufacturing techniques.
· Involvement in various continuous improvement projects when required.
· Maintain and follow company safety standards in these areas.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge & ability to work with AutoCAD & Inventor.
· Solid understanding of metal fabrication processes.
· Must be extremely organized & detail oriented with ability to multi task
· Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
· Ability to communicate with engineering and manufacturing personnel
· U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
