What we do:

The objective of the CJIS Operations and Maintenance Professional Services II (COMPS-II) is to obtain the expertise and specialized skillsets to support the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division’s mission critical System of Services (SoS).    

What you’ll do:

Some of the services you will provide will include the following:

• Plans, organizes, and conducts research in a variety of areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law, or business, etc. in support of an IT initiative.
• Searches sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information. May use Internet, Intranet, magazines, periodicals, journals, and other media to perform research.
• Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.
• Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation fora wide range of uses.
•  Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document.
• Create and update CJIS engineering and project documents and publications in support of SoS O&M activities.
• The Contractor shall have a working knowledge of the following applications—or equivalents—to include, but not limited to:  Visio, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project Planning and Scheduling, SOPs, Wikis and other forms of collaborative documentation.
