Marketing Manager manages the projects and execution of marketing objectives, strategies, programs, and policies for all products and services for the organization. Translates the marketing vision into specific projects, action plans, and tactics. Being a Marketing Manager oversees critical marketing functions to ensure the information and support for programs are effectively delivered. Establishes robust data streams and analytical processes to track and Identify changes in customers, competitors, and business climate and enable responsive marketing activities. Additionally, Marketing Manager develops effective marketing teams and scalable processes to execute short-term and long-term marketing plans. Manages vendor selection, relationships, and budgets. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Marketing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Description
This is a full-time, direct placement role at Service Account Manager.
Your objective is to help accomplish the sales and operational goals for Legend Companies by focusing on service client retention and overall satisfaction in addition to developing new service revenue via small project/repair quotations and new maintenance agreement sales. You will be responsible for both the management of a portion of Legend Companies’ existing client base as well as for the development of new clients and revenue.
Essential Duties
- Understand collective company-wide goals as well as departmental and individual goals.
- Maintain existing customer base while acting as the account manager and point person for any and all matters specific to your accounts. This includes projects, service contracts, customer follow up, customer complaints, account collections and service contract renewals.
- Continually pursue new avenues of profitable revenue generation by leveraging existing business relationships, developing new relationships, and providing fair and responsible budgets, bids, and estimates to obtain new sales.
- Maintain targeted revenue level of preventative maintenance agreements which support the service goals of Legend Companies.
- Collaborate with all departments to identify growth opportunities.
- Continuously work to build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships.
- Prepare appropriate and pertinent information to properly transition all sales to service operations team.
- Notify service manager of all customer related issues.
Requirements

- Maintain a sense of urgency
- Ensure the “tour-ready” appearance of the Service and Facility Department
- Create and maintain an awareness and acceptance of Legend’s mission, vision, and values.
- Have minimum 3-5 years of mechanical service and/or facility services industry experience.
- Retain up-to-date knowledge base through personal and professional development.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Word docs, etc….
- High level of communications skills required, both written and oral.
- Previous account management/sales experience preferred.
