BDC Manager – Hands-On Leadership Role at Marketplace Chevy

Job Description:

Marketplace Chevy, a well-established and respected dealership, is looking for a driven and passionate BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center. This is a hands-on role where you will manage the team while also actively handling inbound and outbound calls, leads, and follow-ups to drive sales and ensure excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example by personally handling inbound and outbound calls, managing internet leads, and following up with potential customers.
• Oversee the BDC team’s performance, ensuring they meet or exceed sales and service goals.
• Coach and mentor staff, developing strategies to improve lead conversion and customer engagement.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics, such as call volumes and lead response times, to continuously optimize processes.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication between the BDC and the showroom.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience managing a BDC in an automotive dealership.
• Proven ability to handle inbound and outbound calls and manage leads directly.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven performance improvement.
