Position Objective

Responsible for cleaning plant, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and sweeps floors, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trashcans

Key Responsibilities

• Clean areas by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
• Clean and disinfect office equipment and break room areas
• Collects and disposes of waste, maintains outside sidewalks, and assists in keeping outside premises in an orderly condition
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
• Tend to the grounds of the establishment
• Painting as needed
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Perform all jobs in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Knowledge of written and spoken English sufficient for internal communication
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP's and communicate their requirements to others
• Ability to judge when equipment has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized

Physical Demands

• Possess strength sufficient to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Possess the ability to stand on concrete floors for full shift period
• Possess the ability to hear speech and / or alarms through plant noise
• Possess peripheral vision
• Possess manual dexterity to unfasten and fasten large and small parts using hand tools
• Possess the ability to work with chemicals and solvents used for sanitizations Must not be allergic to chemicals and solvents used for sanitizations
