    EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
    The Management Analyst 5 position provides complex analysis, planning, and data solutions to program staff. This position will collaborate with the Grants Administrator, Senior Research Manager, Reentry Division leadership team, and program staff to formulate strategies to generate and integrate complex data through analysis of trends, issues, and program outcomes to benefit the grants. This position will support grants that impact Education, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI), Housing, and family-centered programs, including the Strength in Families program and family-educated classes (Parenting Inside Out).Some of what you'll do: Serve as the data expert for program areas within the Reentry Division. Provide data reports as requested by the Reentry Assistant Secretary and provide data analysis and guidance in understanding complex data reports. Analyze data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders utilizing complex data visualization systems such as PowerBI.Design, develop, and administer a dashboard of performance and outcome measures related to the work of Reentry division initiatives and objectives. Provide leadership and direction related to data set development, analysis, performance, and process improvement strategies at the programs and department levels. Work with other analysts and performance consultants in the agency to maintain consistency in documentation and presentation of performance measures.Collaborate with Research and Data Analytics on research projects and provide technical advice and consultation on available data.Provide Quality Assurance to Reentry Division Programs.Regularly review data, identify trends, and provide guidance to internal and external. stakeholders for program implementation and improvements.Participate in stakeholder meetings to ensure data needs are met. Complete regular audits of data collection tools, program systems, and SharePoint lists to ensure data integrity and to provide quality assurance.Ensure confidentiality and privacy protocols are being followed for all data collected and reported on, both internally and externally.Consult with executives, managers, and other staff to provide analysis, recommendations, and evaluation of performance and/or programs.Develop a rigorous methodology for effective tracking of performance outcomes that allows for accurate and timely reporting of performance outcomes.Makes recommendations regarding highly complex, unprecedented issues involving organizational change, process improvement, and policy development; or issues involving a broad scope and significant impact on outside agencies, institutions, organizations, statewide, and the public.Develop and provide reoccurring data reports and complete ad-hoc data requests for Reentry division program areas.Attend RDA meetings as needed to work on ad-hoc requests for program areas.Identifies trends, patterns, anomalies, and uses findings to develop and communicate strategies for improving processes and practices. Maintain data codes, recurring reports, and counting rules, and update as policy or practice dictate.Collaborate with the Research team within RDA to work on evaluations for Reentry division program areas.Perform other duties associated with awarded grants impacting the Reentry division program areas.Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data needs are being met.Contribute to the development of annual and quarterly grant reports and ensure their accuracy. Maintain and monitor all performance measures as defined for each grant.Assist with the development of program communication materials both internally and externally.Maintain the SharePoint site for program areas and make updates as needed.Assist with the development and implementation of policies that impact programs within the Reentry division.Create reentry-focused messaging, updating programs’ internal and external websites, social media sites, program SharePoint sites, and internal and external program communication materials
