Mechanical Engineering Supervisor oversees the designing of engines, tools, and other mechanical equipment and industrial processes. Also responsible for supervising the production, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment. Being a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may work with other engineering departments to aid in the development and usage of robotics to improve productivity. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has openings for a Mechanical Systems Supervisor/Plumber to join our team. This position oversees and executes the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating system equipment and fixtures. The successful candidate is responsible for helping to maintain the district’s buildings and supporting an environment that promotes learning, health, safety, and pride.
Pay: $26.37 based on experience
