Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. BASE SALARY: $32,000 PLUS COMMISION
What we're looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated Appraiser/Buyer to join our team. General automotive and vehicle knowledge is preferred, but not required. Sales experience is preferred. On-the-job training is provided.
What you'll Do:
This position is responsible for the acquisition of vehicles from the public to keep the dealership inventory at an acceptable level.
The acquisition of vehicles includes how to effectively appraise the vehicle and looking for previous paint and body repairs and paying attention to vehicles that have known issues.
In addition, this position must also reach out to and follow up with customers that are looking to sell their vehicles, find new ways to acquire vehicles, assist the sales department with appraisals, search customer data base and reach out to previous customers to acquire inventory and communicate with different departments about vehicle appraisals. It is essential that this position communicates with the buying center manager at all times.
This position requires the employee to learn all of the systems we use that are essential to appraising a vehicle and keeping up with current market prices, etc. This position will also create information in our current inventory system, collect any payoff information and create the purchase agreement with the customer.
Additionally, this position helps to keep the buying center office organized and professional, assist with snow removal on snow days, assist with marketing the buying center to the public and to lock up the buying center at the end of the day.
Qualifications:
Energized individual who has excellent communication skills and works well in a team environment and has additional computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word. General vehicle knowledge is preferred. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
