Media Planner jobs in Remsen, NY
Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. WKTV/NBC is the powerhouse TV station in Utica. Our enormous local news ratings combine with top syndication and NBC prime to dominate the viewing all day long. We also have a fast growing CBS station, a CW and a complete suite of Digital Products.
The Sales Planner will: learn the Broadcast Sales business from the ground up; learn Sales/Contract/Billing/CRM systems; will assist the AE’s in preparing Sales Presentations; schedule stewardship. This job is designed to prepare you to become an AE at WKTV.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data base management of Sales Proposals and Sales Ordering systems.
- Assist in the stewardship of Sales Orders.
- Prepare and distribute various Sales Reports for the Sales Staff.
- Create Power Point presentations for the Sales Staff.
Job Requirements:
- Four year college degree.
- Some work experience since college graduation.
- Able to work efficiently with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Proficient in: Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word.
- Willing to have fun on the job.
