Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Edit and enhance audio, video, and image content to ensure high-quality output. Collaborate with content creators, writers, and developers to integrate multimedia elements seamlessly into projects. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project objectives, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions as needed. Maintain organized files and documentation to facilitate project tracking and asset management per company procedures. Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in multimedia design. Experiment with new techniques and technologies to enhance the visual appeal and interactivity of multimedia content. Provide recommendations for innovative multimedia strategies to improve audience engagement and brand perception. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and functionality of multimedia assets across different platforms and devices. Address any technical issues or discrepancies in multimedia content to maintain a seamless user experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or related field OR equivalent work experience. Proven experience in multimedia design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign and other relevant applications. Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro). Familiarity with web design principles, user interface (UI) design, and responsive design techniques. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual aesthetics. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual quality and consistency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
