General Responsibilities:

• Implements general policies and procedures established by management.
• Provides feedback and suggestions to management relative to the daily operation of the exhibitions.
• Prioritizes work duties to ensure efficient operation of the exhibition.
• Ensures a positive experience for every guest.
• Promotes patronage of the exhibition.
• Maintains a clean and safe exhibition area, including, but not limited to, all exhibition galleries, retail store, office(s), storage spaces and the break room.
• Provides grass-roots marketing whenever possible.
• Commits to achieving excellence in customer service.

· Provides assistance to GM and AGM to organize and track staff schedules.

· Familiarizes posted work schedule periodically to ensure adherence of work times.

· Collaborates with co-workers to ensure harmony and teamwork within the venue.

· Supports management to ensure efficient operation of the exhibition.

• Complies with all safety regulations and applicable laws.
• Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
• Notifies immediate AGM or GM of any infractions by others.

· Coordinates tasks and duties for various areas within the venue as directed by AGM or GM.

· Supervises staff working on the floor in various areas of the venue.

· Evaluates on-the-job performance and communicates feedback with management.

· Ensures standards for quality of operations, customer service, and health and safety are met.

· Serves as backup for AGM or GM for daily staff meetings.

· Provides training and or retraining for employees as directed.

· Handles customer questions, complaints, and issues and escalates to management as needed.

· Trouble shoots, repairs, and maintains facilities and equipment within the venues as directed.

· Performs all other duties as requested by Management.

• Works closely with management to establish and approve workloads, work methods, and performance standards.

Requirements:

· Evening and weekend shift work required

· Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures preferred

· Experience with cash management principles and/or procedures

· Ability to sit or stand for more than two hours

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of service industry experience including a visitor attraction, theme park, museum, hotel, or theater environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide supervisory skills in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Job Type: Full-time
