Being a Media Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Media Supervisor relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. General Responsibilities:
· Provides assistance to GM and AGM to organize and track staff schedules.
· Familiarizes posted work schedule periodically to ensure adherence of work times.
· Collaborates with co-workers to ensure harmony and teamwork within the venue.
· Supports management to ensure efficient operation of the exhibition.
· Coordinates tasks and duties for various areas within the venue as directed by AGM or GM.
· Supervises staff working on the floor in various areas of the venue.
· Evaluates on-the-job performance and communicates feedback with management.
· Ensures standards for quality of operations, customer service, and health and safety are met.
· Serves as backup for AGM or GM for daily staff meetings.
· Provides training and or retraining for employees as directed.
· Handles customer questions, complaints, and issues and escalates to management as needed.
· Trouble shoots, repairs, and maintains facilities and equipment within the venues as directed.
· Performs all other duties as requested by Management.
Requirements:
· Evening and weekend shift work required
· Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures preferred
· Experience with cash management principles and/or procedures
· Ability to sit or stand for more than two hours
Education:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
