A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.
This route is based out of the Lincoln/Bangor area and runs Monday - Friday from approximately 8:00am-4:00pm. The route runs year-round providing year-round income. The driver can expect to drive approximately 1100 miles per week depending on the average. The driver will need at least a mini van to successfully complete the deliveries for this route.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery service Monday through Friday
- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver
- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
- Own a reliable minivan (or size equivalent) and back up vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- STAT Courier performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
