Medical Records Transcriptionist transcribes medical dictation by physicians and other medical practitioners pertaining to patients assessment, diagnostics, therapy, and other medical reports. Understands medical terminology and the use of transcription software and equipment. Being a Medical Records Transcriptionist requires a high school diploma. May require Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS). Additionally, Medical Records Transcriptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Transcriptionist works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Our company is seeking an experienced, organized Medical Records Specialist to help us ensure compliance with local and federal regulations on medical records. As a Medical Records Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all medical records of our patients are correctly maintained and kept in accordance with regulations. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and growing practice with a great team.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for data and information.
- Search for, retrieve and update records.
- Store and maintain records.
- Verify that all documents have been filed correctly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
