Member Services Director directs and coordinates all aspects of the health maintenance organization (HMO) member services department. Plans and directs policies and objectives for addressing member inquiries. Being a Member Services Director establishes service quality goals for the department and implements strategies to meet these goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Member Services Director typically reports to top management. The Member Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Nebraska REALTORS Association is searching for a self-motivated, detail oriented, customer service focused teammate to lead planning and executing our associations' events and monitor and maintain our membership database while assisting our members. This is a full-time position and requires some in state travel.
EVENTS AND MEMBER SERVICES DIRECTOR
I. POSITION:
a. Plans, markets, and manages association meetings, social, and education events.
b. Assists Communications Director with all association communications and communication plans, including social media.
c. Assists with updating association website.
d. Liaison to Convention & YPN Committees.
e. Assist Members with all association Services.
f. Provides administrative assistance in the daily operations of the association office.
g. Association receptionist handling all incoming phone calls & mail.
h. Responsible for the inventory and ordering of office supplies.
i. Assist CEO with the building maintenance.
j. Membership record maintenance
II. REPORTS to the Chief Executive Officer of the Nebraska REALTORS® Association.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Plans, organizes, markets, and manages association events including, but not limited to, Political Action Days, Annual Convention, Inaugural, Fall Education and Business meetings. Coordinates NRA staff for events and assigns tasks as necessary. Includes maintenance of event files, registration management and reconciliation post event and post event surveys.
b. Staff Liaison to the Convention Committee and Young Professional Network Committee, as well as any task forces, forums and work groups which may be appointed. Prepares meeting materials, records minutes and coordinates projects and programs as directed.
c. Works with Communications Director to create press releases for the REALTOR® of the Year and Installed Leadership.
d. Contract negotiating and agreements with venues.
e. Answer all incoming phone calls and assist members as requested.
f. Maintain NRA member services benefits including Legal Hotline and FOREWARN® programs.
g. Assists with member record maintenance including daily review of National REALTOR® Database System (NRDS / M1) reports as well as tracking Code of Ethics course completion.
h. Verification of integrity of membership database system relative to NRDS.
i. Assist in entering registrations in database for all association events.
j. Assist with design, updates, and distribution of the new member resource booklet.
k. Assists with building maintenance including hvac, lawn, and landscape maintenance, building repairs and cleaning services.
l. Assist other staff members as assigned.
m. Responsible for the monthly inventory and ordering of all office supplies.
n. Responsible for assisting members with online form vendors and submitting updated forms to form vendors.
o. Maintains association website.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS: It is recommended the person for this position should:
a. Be proficient and possess knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and applicable office software such as membership database software. Familiarity with web site maintenance software is a plus.
b. Be able to work well under pressure. Possess organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
c. Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
d. Be able to travel in state when necessary.
