    Resort Membership is seeking a dynamic and dedicated duo for an exciting job opportunity. We are looking to hire a highly motivated couple, spouses, relatives, or great friends with a passion to maintain the maintenance at our campground and assist in the functioning of our office. We are located in the Illinois River Valley, near starved rock and looking for candidates that can live on-site. A free site will be provided if you own an RV, otherwise, housing will be paid for (excluding utilities).

    Please note, while individual applicants will be considered, a duo is highly preferred.

    Pay: $75k-$80k/year depending on experience (for couple); $35k-60k/year depending on experience (for individual)

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform general repair of appliances
    • Perform carpentry, electrical and sewer repairs as needed
    • Perform painting and/or drywall maintenance/repair as needed
    • Communicate and follow up with the Property Manager about maintenance concerns and the status of work orders
    • Assist Project Manager in contracting vendors and taking bids for special project
    • Paint, clean, and repair all vacant units within a timely and impeccable manner
    • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
    • Ensure that maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment are always stocked and available
    • Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
    • Manage and oversee the operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of the residential property
    • Prepare and manage the operating budget in order to control expenses and meet financial objectives; Prepare financial variance reports as needed
    • Supervise the collection of rents and all monies on site and ensure prompt deposit and accurate record keeping of these funds
    • Develop, implement and monitor marketing strategy to maximize resident retention and generate a sustaining flow of qualified prospects
    • Show and lease apartments; Process applications and move in and move out documents
    • Complete and submit, timely and accurately, all records, reports and documents required by the company and federal or state agencies
    • Ensure compliance with all HUD and Fair Housing regulations

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
    • Minimum of 1 year general maintenance experience required
    • Minimum of 1 year property management experience required
    • RV campground experience preferred
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays in the summer season (typical campground with most of the work during the main season and reduced hours/work off season)
    • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
