About the Job:

The primary responsibility is to creating art, graphics and textile pattern for all product categories including all tops, bottoms, swim, and licensed brands.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

• Design and illustrate original placed graphics for apparel.
• Design cohesive graphic stories for each delivery and category and based on trends and concepts · Ability to create repeat graphic patterns.
• Prepare artwork for production: Put artwork into repeat, cleaning, separating colors and creating tech packs.
• Uses Photoshop. Illustrator and preferably Nedgraphics to prepare artwork for production.
• Be a point person for a category. Take ownership of all the art and work with Designer and Director to design and pass off to PD.
• Responsible for strike off comments and review with Designers, Merchants and Production.
• Develop trend reports and mood boards and know what’s relevant in the market · Reports to our Director and assist and pivot to time sensitive projects when needed
• Create and Maintain our Print library · Present artwork in large meetings.
• Balance multiple projects with time management while being very organized to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, humble, have good work ethic and a team player.

What it takes to Join:

• 1-3 years’ experience in graphic design in the apparel industry, focused on junior's or contemporary women’s market.
• BFA or BA or other design related degree such as Fine Arts
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Textile Print design experience required.
• NedGraphics experience highly preferred
• Proficient in Illustration and painting.
• Highly organized
• Multi-tasking
• Self-motivator / works well with others.
• Team player

Salary Range: $64,480-$71,761

• Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
