Mental Health Clinician - MSW provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Completes patient assessments to identify social and emotional challenges. Being a Mental Health Clinician - MSW may conduct crisis interventions with patients and families. Recommends and coordinates services. Additionally, Mental Health Clinician - MSW coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement a holistic treatment plan. Typically requires eligibility for state licensure. Social Worker MSW - Case Management

    Provides education and support services to patients, families and staff. Provides psychosocial assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, referrals and information to patients and families. As a member of the Case Management Department, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to affect positive patient and family outcomes. Serves as resource for less-experienced social workers and other team members.

    Required qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work.

    • Texas Masters Social Worker License - Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners upon hire or

    • New Mexico Masters Social Worker License - New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners upon hire

    • 1 year of Minimum of one year experience delivering social work services in a healthcare setting.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Post degree experience in a hospital or other health care setting.
