Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to coordinate and direct deliveries and pick ups, by scheduling deliveries, arranging pick ups with vehicle maintenance and managing truck drivers.

Job Duties

• Organizes all deliveries, backhauls, pick-ups, transfers, and permits into routes for next day. Communicates next day routes to loader and drivers.
• Communicates with customer on phone confirming details about deliveries ahead of time.
• Operates truck fleet within DOT regulations and securing permits for wide loads.

Skills & Abilities

• Holds a CDL A license with a good driving record
• Proficiency in transportation planning and dispatching
• Knowledge of weight limits per load, routes, road conditions and time required to travel to destinations
• Knowledge of PA and surrounding state laws regarding trucking
• Knowledge of permit process for wide loads or internal state hauling
• Good telephone and customer service skills
• Knows how to load trailers and trucks properly and efficiently
• Works and regularly makes decisions in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
