Responsibilities of an Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator MDS:
- Coordinate processes related to the assessment and care planning of patients or residents.
- Scheduling regular assessments for patients, asking patients to report on how they feel.
- Provide regular reports to doctors and other medical professionals, and billing.
- Work with the Medical Decision Support (MDS) system to ensure diseases and conditions are treated in the best possible way.
Qualifications for an Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator - MDS:
- Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1-year experience as an RNAC preferred
- Extensive knowledge of MDS, PDPM, Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance
