Mortgage Credit Manager manages a group of mortgage credit supervisors and monitors application procedures to ensure assignments meet established processes/standards. Oversees analysis of current, new and renewed residential loans. Being a Mortgage Credit Manager provides recommendations for improvement to top management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Credit Manager typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Credit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Mortgage Credit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Idaho Central Credit Union’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will increase mortgage loan business by making sales calls and giving presentations to members and businesses on a regular basis to develop long-term relationships.

    Responsibilities

    At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

    • Marketing Credit Union Mortgage products in the Credit Union’s geographical field of membership.
    • Developing business relationships and generating leads from real estate agents.
    • Handling applications and managing all communication during the loan process.
    • Performing pre-approval analyses of new mortgage applications.
    • Assisting in training branch team members.
    • Promoting and cross-selling additional Credit Union products and services.
    • Attending all loan closings.

    Qualifications

    Before you apply, make sure you have:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    • The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

    This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
