What You'll Do:

Processes mortgage loans in a timely manner; order and review title searches, title opinions, appraisals, flood certificates, credit reports and all other related documents (i.e. - VOD, VOE, etc.) to ensure accordance with legal and procedural/policy compliance requirements are met and to ensure member satisfaction

Prepares and obtains all closing documents in a timely manner to ensure member satisfaction for delivery to Attorney for closing, assuring Robins Financial Credit Union’s lien position and that legal and procedural/policy compliance requirements are met including accurate HMDA reporting.

Satisfies any requirements mandated by Robins Financial underwriting staff, the Fannie Mae Automated Underwriting System and/or The Veterans Administration.

Works directly with Secondary Marketing Representative to lock rate for mandatory delivery to Secondary Market, monitors pipeline to manage lock expirations and loan closings to protect member and credit union interests.

Oversees progression of construction loans including monitoring of inspections and keeps management informed of any adverse circumstances.

Maintains member confidence and protects credit union operations by achieving and continuing to develop knowledge of products and services offered by the credit union.

What You Need to Succeed:
Job Education and Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
3 years progressive experience in financial service industry with some mortgage background
-
Must be eligible to register with and must maintain registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing & Registry (NMLS).
Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:

Knowledge of basic consumer and mortgage lending concepts and guidelines.

Skills: Above-average time management; ability to manage multiple workloads with successful results; ability to work independently; organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, problem analysis and problem resolution; above-average interpersonal skills and proficiency; computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
