Mortgage Quality Assurance Auditor jobs in Canton, MI

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes to identify and address potential quality issues to the QA Manager.
• Perform hourly checks on finished products, metal detector checks, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of quality documents for management review.
• Sign off Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) verified documents.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control and sanitation procedures
• Train and inform production in any areas needing re-training or corrective action with the QA manager.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems
• Help with Research and Development trial runs being ran on the production lines
• Follow and ensure staff is following all safety, compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 year experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• PCQI Certification is preferred but on site training will be provided if needed
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
