This position has the overall responsibility to manage a team of Quality Control and Quality Assurance people. They perform in process and final inspection of electrical and mechanical assemblies/ etc. Recording the results, and assisting assembly personnel as required. In addition to primary inspection activities. The managers assures inspectors maintain and revise inspection documentation as required and communicate with co-workers and management to resolve quality related issues.

Responsibility's

• Need to be willing to learn and be trained in knowledge of IPC 610 / IPC 620 Standards, customer workmanship standards and ISO Requirements. Will need to inspect various electronic systems, assemblies, sub assemblies, components, and parts for conformance to customer specifications by performing the following duties.

• Must be familiar with metal fabrication of machined and sheet metal parts including welding, bending, forming.

• Must be able to manage ISO 9000 process
• Must be able to manage customer audits, quality complaints, manufacturing errors and returns of product.

• Manage the site Safety program.

• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
• Will need to coordinate and prioritize daily activity for inspection teams. .
• Examines layout and installation of wiring, cables, subassemblies, hardware, and components to detect assembly errors.
• Must have full knowledge of how to set up, use and precision measurement tools

• Must be able to understand what a good crimp is and what a good solder joint should look like.

• Will need to perform first PC inspection, be able to use micrometers to measure crimp heights, perform pull tests and perform in-process inspection.
• will need to enter data on the computer of quality defects and in-process findings.
• Examines production documents, in accordance with specifications, to ensure that all assembly, inspecting, and testing steps were performed according to specifications.
• Must be able to identify areas of improvement through the review of the assembly process and inspection steps that are in place.
• Always maintains professional demeanor and work within the guidelines of the company policies and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Quality control: 3 years (Preferred)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
• ISO 9001: 1 year (Preferred)
• Managing Quality Teams: 3 years (Required)
