Motion Picture Projectionist jobs in Grand Rapids, MI

We are looking for an individual who doesn't mind a dirty, hands-on job. Pete's Auto Parts is a certified automotive recycler: we buy vehicles that were in accidents and we sell the good parts off of them. So basically what you would be doing is cleaning out incoming vehicles of any trash, and taking pictures of these vehicles, so that when customers are looking at the pics they aren't looking at a bunch of McDonald's bags on the floor of the car (LOL) and it will prevent potential litter.

This is not a glamorous job, but you do get to work totally on your own, independently, listening to your own music. You can talk to your coworkers as much as you want or never, you can just go do your thing by yourself. We will of course supply the heavy-duty rubber gloves, light-duty rubber gloves, any sort of equipment/trash stabbers, the trash bags, etc. We will supply the phone (just a wifi phone no data plan) you will take the pictures of the cars on, and the computer to upload them.

You could work Monday through Friday from 8am to 1pm, or Monday through Friday 11:30am-4:30pm, 5 hours each week day. Or M-F 10-3. Or you could work Monday, Wednesday & Friday for 8 hours, 8am-4:30pm with a half hour lunch. Or Monday, Tuesday Thursday, etc. The point is, we are flexible. We want someone who shows up, does their work, very little drama.

Responsibilities:

- Collecting any trash from inside incoming vehicles and throwing it away.
- Taking pictures of vehicles and vehicle parts
- Uploading pictures of vehicles and parts into our computer system
- Assign part-specific parts to parts
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Ability to be on your feet performing physical tasks throughout the workday
- Proficiency in operating a cell phone, tablet, and computer
- Willingness to work alone

Pay: $15.00 per hour
