Job Summary/Description:

You will have the opportunity to sell across all WLOX digital and broadcast television platforms, providing advertising solutions to both existing and new customers that will help them generate sales and increase profitability. This is a fast-paced and fun environment that requires persistence, organization, creativity, and interpersonal skills.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Achieve television and digital revenue goals set by the company for existing and developmental accounts.
- Sells advertising time and provides continuous service to advertising agencies and direct accounts.
- Assesses an advertiser's marketing needs and develops proposals & presentations to show how the Station can fulfill those needs with a television schedule, internet schedule, commercial concept, and/or promotional event.
- Maintains positive client and station personnel relationships.
- Makes presentations to advertisers' key decision-makers in written and/or visual form. -Manages client-chosen solutions and provides excellent customer service to clients.
- Provides management with timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual budget forecasts.
- Maintains an understanding of local market ratings, competitive media, station strengths, industry, and product knowledge.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
· 2 years of Sales experience OR a background or education in Business
· Excellent writing and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
· Ability to use creativity to solve problems
· Ability to develop campaigns and motivate others
· A real desire to understand your clients and their businesses
· A thirst for ongoing learning: advertising, marketing, television, and digital

▪️ Experience selling digital products/strategies including audience targeting, social media, PPC, and SEO preferred.

  · Knowledge of presentation software, MS Office products
  · Must meet Gray Television’s driving requirements and have a valid driver’s license
  · Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance required
