Job Summary
A remarkable opportunity awaits! We're looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join our Socksmith team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of inside/outside sales representatives, driving sales performance, and developing strategies to meet sales targets.
Duties
- Oversee and manage the inside sales team, working directly with Marketing, our KAM, CS and reporting directly to the President.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals
- Monitor sales metrics and provide regular reports to the management team
- Train, mentor, and motivate sales representatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to meet wholesale goals
- Provide exceptional customer service. The retail customer is the #1 priority, you can't be afraid to communicate with them!
- Help expand the customer base by assisting reps, both in the field and from HQ
Requirements
- Proven experience in inside sales and managing a sales team
- Excellent communication skills! You have to know how to carry on a conversation!
- Ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on building strong client relationships
Additional Requirements
- You have to be serious and professional, but you can't take yourself too seriously. We're a team of hard-working, creative individuals and are looking for the right company fit!
- You must live in Santa Cruz and be able to come into the office at least 4 days a week
- Travel throughout the year is required, whether setting up, breaking down and attending trade shows, or supporting sales reps on the road
