SUMMARY
The Network Administrator oversees the effective communication of parties at Somerset Trust and ensures the security of the systems and data within. This communication includes: telephone, data network, file transfer, e-mail and the Internet. The network portion encompasses communication data lines, routers, network switches, firewalls and wiring and wireless connectivity.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 1-2 years experiencing managing TCP/IP networks.
In-depth understanding of firewalls, routers, network switches, cabling requirements, VPN’s, the Internet, and Intranets.
