Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Information Technology. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our IT department, working closely with business leaders and the Trilon CIO to execute the technology strategy and ensure seamless IT operations. Your experience with IT infrastructure and systems will be crucial in configuring systems and servers, managing cloud environments, overseeing Active Directory domains, optimizing help desk operations, and enhancing end-user experiences. Primary Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of IT professionals in aligning to and executing the technology strategy provided by the Trilon CIO, focusing on operational excellence and efficiency.
· Lead the successful transition of acquired entities, technology, and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
· Facilitate the transition to modern, cloud-native tools for collaboration and digital delivery of engineering services, identifying opportunities to eliminate pain points and improve user experiences.
· Lead efforts to identify and scale innovative uses of technology and data to improve project delivery and create new revenue opportunities.
· Plan, configure, and modernize IT infrastructure, including servers, systems, and cloud environments, to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
· Manage Active Directory domains, identity, and access management, ensuring seamless access to resources and maintaining security protocols.
· Oversee help desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and providing exceptional support to end users.
· Monitor IT performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including distributed IT teams, business units, and leadership, to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to IT operations.
· Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our operations and recommending strategic investments.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of executing the technology strategy provided by the Trilon CIO to drive operational success.
· Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of IT professionals to achieve operational excellence.
· Proven experience in IT operations, with expertise in configuring networks and servers, modernizing technology infrastructure, moving workloads from on premise to the cloud, administering Active Directory domains, and optimizing help desk operations.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL) are a plus.
Reporting: This role will report to a partner executive leader and have dotted line reporting to the Trilon CIO for strategic direction. We would like these roles to be strategically located based on the needs of the platform. This role will require periodic travel to partner operating locations.
Note: This role will require travel to Waggoneers office in the Southeastern States.
