The Nurse Administrator position is responsible for providing administrative support duties for the Nurse Executive in directing nursing activities for the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assists the Nurse Executive with the oversight of nursing operations for the Radcliff Veterans Center
- Provides reports/recommendations as needed/required to the Nurse Executive concerning nursing operations
- Assists the Nurse Executive in the development, implementation and evaluation of facility policies,
- procedures, and guidelines on an annual and on-going basis
- Serves on multiple committees, participates in the selection, promotion and disciplining of nursing staff

This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof of vaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.
