American Professional Educational Services, part of the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, is a private occupational school providing a myriad of allied health educational courses including EMT, Paramedic, Phlebotomy, and Medical Assistant as well as an American Heart Association Training Center.

Job Summary:

Responsible for all Basic Life Support programs including the EMT, EMT, and CERA programs for American Professional Educational Services (APES), a private Occupational School authorized by the State of Connecticut Office of Higher Education. This position is a Department Head within the organizational structure of APES.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years' experience teaching EMT, EMR, or Paramedic programs
• CT EMT or Paramedic
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in EMS, Education, or another related field
• Experience in coordinating and running EMT, EMT or Paramedic programs in CT including CT OEMS form completion
• NREMT certification
• AHA BLS Instructor
• NAEMT Instructor
• CT Human Trafficking Instructor
