Nursing Home Director directs and conducts the day-to-day activities of the nursing home in accordance with established policies. Implements changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Nursing Home Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 LBS
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
