Occupational Therapist Job Description:
- Assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to identify barriers to learning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct intervention services to students, including therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement strategies that support students' academic and social success.
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Advocate for students' needs within the school environment and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Offer guidance and training to school staff on best practices for supporting students with sensory and motor challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Interview Process:
- (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
