Job Summary: The Home Care Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our home care agency. This role includes coordinating with families, assisting caregivers with scheduling, and working closely with medical staff to ensure client care plans are carried out effectively. A background in marketing is a plus, as the manager will also assist with promoting our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the home care office.
Coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for all shifts.
Act as a liaison between families and caregivers, addressing any concerns or scheduling issues.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure all care plans are implemented and followed.
Maintain detailed records of client care, staff schedules, and communications.
Assist with recruitment, hiring, and training of caregivers.
Provide administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling client inquiries.
Support marketing efforts to promote home care services within the community.
Assist with billing and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office management, preferably within the home care or healthcare industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, caregivers, and medical staff.
Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
Proficient in scheduling software and basic office tools (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
A background in marketing is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
