OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. Being an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations. Oversees the selection of vendors and the purchase of office equipment and supplies. Additionally, OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER coordinates resources to troubleshoot, determine the best solutions, and solve problems. Tracks and analyzes operational costs and monitors budget.     This is a Management Service position with full Maryland State Benefits� Work that Matters.�The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is a nationally recognized leader in affordable housing programs.� The Office of Research & Compliance within the Division of Policy, Strategy and Research is seeking a full-time Senior Federal Compliance Analyst who enjoys challenging research on contemporary housing issues.�� The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced research team and will have ample opportunity for professional growth.     LOCATION OF POSITION

    7800 Harkins Road Lanham, MD 20706. The Department of Housing and Community Development Headquarters is located in Prince George's County across from the New Carrollton Metro stop.

    POSITION DUTIES

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, Humanities or a related field. Experience: Five years of experience conducting extensive federal program reporting and required analysis as well as other economic, housing, socio-economic and other ad-hoc related data analysis.� At least one years’ supervising experience.

    DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Sociology, Data Science or Humanities Experience in housing, economic, demographic, federal/state regulations on programs and other related data sources� Experience working independently on complex projects by identifying, extracting; cleaning/scrubbing, validating data from required sources for database management and statistical analysis using unaided derived methodology Experience with economic data modeling, statistics and research methods� Experience with market segmentation and regional/national economies
