Looking to bring on Benefit Operations Specialist! 

JOB SUMMARY:    The Benefit Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring member eligibility and enrollment are processed accurately and timely.  The position will work collaboratively across multiple functional areas to ensure accuracy of member records.

A successful candidate for this role has experience executing complex, detailed and time bound processes with an analytical mindset and is comfortable with working with large data sets.  

A candidate who is motivated and resourceful with strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills will thrive in this challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Generally will be back office, will follow up with members as needed, but generally the member services team is the primary for that function.
• Being able to work comfortably with LARGE amounts of data. Analytical skills
• Solution oriented. 
• Can work both team and independent
• Savvy with Excel: Between Intermediate and expert - V look ups, X look up, formulas. 
• Will take the data and every week will send vendors a list of people who are eligible for benefits. 
• Less analytics on interpreting data and more about picking out the differences, highlight those and understand why those are changing. 
• 140 employers/and piece that out in 4 different groups and trying to get that down to a single group. Once the team is all in place, then they’ll divide out all the roles and responsibilities, make sure everyone is up to speed.
