Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Location Description :
Wakefield is one of the largest production facilities within Michael Foods. We serve as a flex plant and are able to produce everything from a whole pasteurized egg to liquid, dried, hardboiled and curds.
Responsibilities :

POSITION SUMMARY : The Stock Order Filler is responsible for moving finished products from processing area to the warehouse and onto trailers as well and required rotation of product.
This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES :
Reports to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
