Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Package Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Conduct regular meetings with team members to provide guidance and support
- Review and approve engineering designs, schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Oversee the collection and analysis of data to support decision-making processes
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in engineeringExperience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role
- Strong background in systems engineering and mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
- Experience working with AutoCAD or similar software for design purposes- Solidworks experience required
