Other duties may be assigned.RESPONSIBILITIES MAY VARY BY BRANCH:Job duties may vary based on business needs but may result in generating, handling, and/or inspection of hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage. This can include responding or managing hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the sites emergency action or contingency plan. These duties include preparing and managing hazardous waste records such as manifests, inspection logs, waste determination and other reports.Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.Uses forklift truck to load and unload materials onto or from trucks.Loads and unloads tank trucks.Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.Responsible for bleach production.Produces liquid soda ash and/or hypochlorite, drums sodium hypochlorite.Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.Responsible for daily forklift inspections, light maintenance and housekeeping in work areas.Responsible for safety equipment and procedures.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
