St Pete law firm seeking a full-time litigation paralegal. Prior commercial litigation experience preferred.

We're a growing full-service law firm with offices in downtown St. Pete and Clearwater. We need an experienced paralegal to join our team and support very active litigation practice. The ideal candidate for this position should have a positive attitude and possess the following qualities:

• Strong work ethic
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of local judicial preferences

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• commercial litigation: 3 years (Preferred)
• Bilingual: English/Spanish (Preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery, etc. Must be knowledgeable of common civil litigation motion practice.
• Will be responsible for all scheduling and calendaring as well as communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial assistants.
• Review written discovery and prepare shell of responses, as well as communicate with clients to gather responsive information.
• Searching real property records and other publicly available documents.
