Paralegal Supervisor jobs in the United States

Paralegal Supervisor supervises the preparation of legal documents such as briefs, appeals, wills, and contracts to ensure the work is completed accurately and on time. Ensures that legal research is performed efficiently and is applicable to each individual case. Being a Paralegal Supervisor trains and supports the paralegal team on statutes, recorded judicial decisions, and other current legal updates. Manages process or system utilized to track status of projects. Additionally, Paralegal Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Paralegal certification. The Paralegal Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Paralegal Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
