Role (Overview of the Position)
· Oversees all aspects of resident relations, activities, and communication; develops and maintains a residential environment conducive to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)
· Have passion for exceeding resident expectations and providing exceptional customer service
· Engage with residents, fostering an ongoing, positive relationship while confirming their expectations are being fulfilled
· Provide a personalized experience, with emphasis on care and convenience for our residents
· Identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve resident experience and service
· Respond to resident complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
· Follow up with residents within 24-hours to ensure the inquiry/complaint has been resolved satisfactorily
· Coordinate resident communication, including notices, newsletters, and emails
· Assist maintenance team with coordination of preventative maintenance schedules, planning and notifications
· Assist leasing team and operations coordinators with various tasks
· Take ownership of company reputation management, responding to reviews, surveys, and resident feedback forms
· Take ownership of resident renewal processes, working with the leasing team to ensure renewals are managed well
Results (Expected Accomplishments)
· Maintain a high level of customer service
· Understand all company policies and procedures
· Resolve basic questions, concerns, and issues as thoroughly as possible before sending to the management team
· Answer phones and general inquiries
· Work with the Leasing Team and Maintenance Team to develop systems for greater efficiency
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
· Minimum of one year previous property management experience
· Ability to work in a team and jump in to help when needed
· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
· Ability to effectively communicate via phone, email, and in person
· Ability to learn new software and experience with Appfolio or other property management is a plus
· Understanding and execution of high-level customer service
· High degree of initiative and self-motivation; strong problem-solving skills
· Basic PC knowledge including Word and Excel
· Spanish speaking is preferred
