Payroll Administrator jobs in Hayward, CA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Administrator job opportunity for the corporate office located in Emeryville, CA.

This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 2 years of professional experience processing payroll and using UKG / Ultipro.

The role will be responsible for processing a weekly payroll, a bi-weekly payroll, and within multiple states. The position will monitor accrued vacation, floating holidays and sick pay, set up new garnishments, track garnishments paid and resolve any discrepancies, maintain accurate garnishment records, prepare and process all payroll related union items, monitor payroll email inbox, provide customer service to the employees on the payroll phone line, and assist on other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Professional experience in payroll processing a minimum of 200 employee’s
• Software experience with UKG / Ultipro is required
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred
• Solid foundation of payroll rules and regulations
• Solid computer / technical skills (Outlook, Word, & Excel pivot table and vlookup experience required)
• Strong data entry skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal & written)
• Detailed, accurate, and organized
• Team player, a positive attitude, and coachable
• Reliable, dedicated, and quick to learn

Experience : 2 years of payroll experience (Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, Payroll Technician)

Employment Type : Temporary (3 months)
