Payroll Analyst jobs in Mantua, UT

Job Description:

Permanent full-time position available with a small CPA firm in Ogden, Utah. Hours are Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm. Occasional weekend work and/or OT possible.

This is an in-office position.

We are a full-service payroll provider for approximately 70 small businesses. This includes filing quarterly taxes and creating W2s for our clients.

Responsibilities:

· Preparation of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for multiple clients

· Preparation of payroll related reports and forms including 940s, 941s, W2s, etc.

· Reconciliation of payrolls

Qualifications:

• 3 years of full-service payroll experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Word & Excel software programs required.
• Analytical and organizational skills are a must, and the ability to multi-task and manage the stress created by daily deadlines is necessary.
• Reconciliations are a significant part of this work so applicants must be detail oriented.
• Knowledge of 940s, 941s, and garnishments is required

Compensation:

Salary starts at $26 per hour with eligibility for performance bonuses.
