This position will encompass several small properties to complete all work orders and turns.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Respond to work orders from residents : assess issues and make needed repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
• Complete apartment turnovers with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Maintain apartment interiors to specified standards and schedules.
• Maintain property exteriors and grounds.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude and professional communications.
• On-Call Rotation
• Other duties as assigned.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - QUALIFICATIONS :

• Basic knowledge of tools.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. without the assistance of tools or devices.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities.
• Maintain professionalism while in contact with residents and employees.
• Communicate and react with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to use a smart phone and software apps.
• Drug and background check required.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SKILLS :

Entry Level Acceptable and Skills will be Developed.

• Basic appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting / patching, and carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of tools and machinery and how to properly maintain and operate them, as safety is a priority.
