Resolves internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers. Being a PC Maintenance Technician maintains parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity. May perform system setups for new hires. Additionally, PC Maintenance Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a project leader or supervisor. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team. As a IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our computer systems and networks. Candidates must have experience working in a corporate environment maintaining reliability and security of all information systems, telecommunications systems (both analog and VoIP phones), and equipment by analyzing and implementing solutions. Duties include:
- System Administrator for INVENTORY CONTROL & CRM SYSTEMS( ACCTIVATE & VOIP
system)
- Generate standard daily, weekly, monthly report templates via CRYSTAL REPORTS and Excel
- Point of contact for staff in 2 office locations for IT troubleshooting or training questions
- Project lead for new software implementation and troubleshooting
- Coordinate IT equipment upgrades and software upgrades with vendor and staff
- Setup, install, configure and maintain all network PCs, servers, firewalls, printers, phones
peripherals and parts.
- Troubleshoot PCs, servers, printers and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot IP - networking, routing, and network security issues.
- Administer, maintain, support, and perform upgrades for order management system,
inventory‘ shipping POS, customer relationship, accounting, credit card processing, and e-
commerce
- Maintain and support Windows Server environments (mixed environment of in-house and
hosted servers)
- Document all technical procedures and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
- Performs miscellaneous job—related duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Expert level knowledge for Mac &;PC
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Experience in managing Active Directory and Group Policy
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- 2 or 4 year degree in related computing field from an accredited program
- Working knowledge of SQL Servers, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge in Magento
- Experience with Inventory
- Experience in Video, Surveillance, or Broadcasting a plus
- Analysis & Problem Solving
- Strong Ability to follow up &; provide updates to management or fellow employees
- Willingness to learn new services and technologies extremely organized & detail oriented
- Able to decipher which issues need immediate attention from upper management
- Proven ability to manage advanced technical projects from start to finish
- Ability to take apart & fix equipment as needed
