The People Operations Leader is a working leader role, with one direct report.  Clemco is five years into their LEAN journey and has a strong people-first culture.  This person will guide the organization’s culture, aligning with strategy, goals, and industry best practices.  If selected, you will lead HR, recruit top talent, manage benefits, facilitate, deliver organizational training, and develop people at all levels in the organization.  You will leverage success via your analytical skills, training skills, and employee relations knowledge.  You will be part of a supportive team.  You will have a seat at the table with leadership to effectively manage both existing and propsective employees.  You will learn ways to look at HR that inspire and transform your thoughts on the field.

• Hands-on training: design, delivery and facilitation of technical and leadership development
• People development 
• Recruiting

• Culture and alignment to strategy
• Policies, programs and practices that support a people-first culture
• Drive continuous improvement in core HR business processes

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organization development, or 10 years’ experience required.  
• 7 years of progressive HR experience required, strong business acumen.
• 3 years developing people.
• SPHR certification preferred.
• Prior experience with managing HRIS. 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Must have a strong HR generalist background including employee relations, employment law, employee engagement, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, and training and development.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
