Pharmacy Buyer jobs in New York, NY
The Pharmacy Buyer ensures adequate levels of drugs and supplies are available in the inpatient and outpatient pharmacies and that purchases do not exceed budget. Liaisons between buyers and manufacturer's representatives to ensure that the organization purchases pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment that meet quality standards while minimizing costs. Being a Pharmacy Buyer requires certification as a pharmacy technician and licensure from the State Board of Pharmacy. Requires a high school diploma. In addition, Pharmacy Buyer typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Years of experience may be unspecified. As a Pharmacy Technician at Embassy Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations and delivering high-quality customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Front-End Inventory Management: Assist with managing and organizing inventory to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Customer Service: Ring up customers, answer phone calls, and provide excellent service to our clients.
- Software Utilization: Utilize Primerx software for prescription processing and other related tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is essential for effective communication with our diverse clientele.
- Software Knowledge: Experience with Primerx software is preferred.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive Attitude: Willingness to contribute to the positive changes and growth within the pharmacy.
