Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Observe machine operation with awareness of machine malfunction and/or operator error. Follow established standards, guidelines or procedures to report issues.
- Effectively communicate and cooperate with team members.
- Actively participate in and maintain Zion’s Safety and Housekeeping standards.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:- 100% Consistent error free work
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Able to operate independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to successfully communicate with other team members to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ability to read and follow Work Instructions.
- Demonstrate steady, methodical, error-free work output.
MACHINES/EQUIPMENT/TOOLS/WORK AIDES:Zion will train on proper use of required machines.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:- Bending, stooping, standing, walking on hard surfaces
- Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Ability to work in hot environment
- Ability to use hands and arms to operate equipment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:- Shop environment.
