Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant functions as a mid-level health care provider, responsible for providing Urologic health care to individuals, groups, and the community, evaluating health problems, instituting therapy in collaboration with the primary urologist, and/or referring for other care.

Qualifications/Education/Licensure:

1. Licensure as a Physicians Assistant in the state of Minnesota.
2. Recognition as a Physician Assistant by the state of Minnesota.
3. Certification by the NCCPA Credentialing Center or recognized national board as a Physicians Assistant.
4. Experience in Men's Health Program preferred.
5. Masters degree preferred.
6. Maintains BLS certification.
7. ACLS encouraged.
8. Minnesota prescriptive authority and DEA licensure.
9. Minimum of at least two years of CCU, ICU, Hospital, or clinic-based work as a Physicians' Assistant.
10. Additional experience per individual role.
